INGREDIENTS:

  1. 3 Chicken Legs
  2. 3 and Half glass of Basmati Rice or Long Grain Rice soaked in water for 30 Minutes &Then Clean and Drain the Water from the Rice
  3. Shredded Carrots (OPTIONAL)
  4. 4 Sliced Onions 
  5. Half TBSP Garlic 
  6. 4 Finally Chopped Juicy Tomatoes 
  7. 3 Bay Leaves 
  8. 4 Green Cardamoms
  9. 6 Cloves, Few Black Peppercorns
  10. 1 TBSP Coriander Powder
  11. Half TBSP Cumin Powder
  12. Half TBSP Cinnamon Powder 
  13. Half TBSP Green Cardamom Powder 
  14. 2 Pinches of Nutmeg
  15. 1 TBSP Freshly Ground Black Pepper (Add Some Red Chilli Powder too if you LIKE
  16. 1 TBSP Salt 
  17. 1 Whole Dried Lemon (Recommended) or 1 Full Lemon Zest if you don't have dried lemon
  18. Half Cup Boiled Almonds Cut into Half 
  19. Half Cup Golden Raisins 
  20. Oil for Cooking (Sunflower or Vegetable) 
BAKE THE CHICKEN ON 180 C FOR 15 MINUTES

How To Cook Saudi Kabsa Easy Recipe Chicken Kabsa Saudi Style Preparation


Turn on the stove place fry pan and add 5 tbsp oil, add 4 chopped onions, ad half tbsp garlic and cook until brown. Add 2-3 chicken leg pieces cook on medium heat until brown. Add 4 chopped tomatoes mix and cook them for 8 minutes turn the heat on low. Add 2-3 bay leaves, add 4 green cardamoms, add 6-7 cloves, few black peppercorns, add 1 tbsp coriander powder, half tbsp cumin powder, half tbsp cinnamon powder, half tbsp green cardamom powder, pinch of nutmeg, add one dried lemon or add lemon zest in case you don't have dried lemon. Add 1 tbsp freshly ground black pepper, 1 tbsp salt, add 5 and a half glasses of water cook them for 25 minute on medium heat. Remove the chicken on a baking tray Bake this chicken for 15 minute in a preheated oven. Add 3 and a half glasses of basmati rice that were already soaked in water before. Mix and cook the rice on medium heat until there is some water left. When there is some water left on top cover the rice with a cloth and put the lid on. Then cook them on very low heat for 15-20 minutes. Don't forget to remove the chicken from the oven.

For some creative decoration:-


Add some oil, add handful boiled almonds cutted in half cook them until light brown. Add handful golden raisins cook them until brown. Place the chicken on rice add some almonds and raisins on rice. ENJOY ❤
